Set eye relief and scope position first
With the rifle unloaded and your actual scope and rings fitted, shoulder it naturally from the positions you use. Move the scope until the sight picture is full and shadow-free before judging length of pull or cheek height.

Check length of pull
After eye relief is close, shoulder the rifle naturally with your normal clothing on. Your trigger finger should fall naturally on the trigger face, the recoil pad should sit in the shoulder pocket without snagging, and you should not need to stretch your neck toward the scope.
Factory length feels rightNo spacer change needed.
Stock feels shortFor every LOP spacer, use one spacer by default. A multi-piece stack can be used only in special cases, but it does not create the strongest possible connection and is not the recommended default. If stacking is required, glue the spacer pieces together before final installation and contact us first.
Stock feels longDo not add spacers; look at thinner pads, compact stock options, or fit advice.

Check comb height
With eye relief set, close your eyes and shoulder the rifle naturally. Open your eyes without moving your head. If the sight picture is not centered, stack card or thin foam on the comb until your eye opens into a full sight picture, then measure the stack.
