Tikka produces the T3x in more variants than most shooters realise — Lite, Superlite, Compact, CTR, Tac A1, Roughtech, Hunter, and more. Each serves a different purpose, and accessory compatibility varies by variant. Here's the breakdown.
How T3x variants work
All T3x variants share the same action: the same bolt, barrel threading, magazine system, and trigger group. The differences are in the stock and barrel profile. This means trigger group accessories (spring swaps) cross over to every variant, while stock-mounted ergonomic accessories depend on whether the variant uses a sporter stock or an adjustable chassis-style stock.
Tikka T3x Superlite — sporter stock, lightest variant
The T3x Superlite is the lightest hunting build Tikka makes — typically around 2.7 kg before optics. It uses a synthetic sporter stock with the same comb geometry and buttpad mounting as the standard T3x.
Accessory compatibility: All Nokka ergonomic accessories fit directly — cheek riser, LOP spacers, and trigger spring. If you're adding a scope to a Superlite, the same comb-height problem as the standard T3x applies and a riser is the solution. Given the light overall weight, the ergonomic accessories add minimally to the carry weight while meaningfully improving shot consistency.
Tikka T3x Compact — standard sporter stock, shortened LOP
The Compact ships with a ~330mm LOP (shorter than the standard 362mm) to fit smaller-framed shooters. The comb profile is the same as the standard T3x.
Accessory compatibility: All accessories fit. The shorter factory LOP means some shooters may want fewer or no LOP spacers — test before buying. The cheek riser and trigger spring apply unchanged.
Tikka T3x Hunter — standard sporter stock
The Hunter is the baseline sporter variant with a walnut or synthetic stock. Same dimensions as the standard T3x.
Accessory compatibility: All Nokka accessories fit directly. Same as the standard T3x.
Tikka T3x Roughtech — composite sporter stock
The Roughtech uses a reinforced composite sporter stock designed for rough-country use. The comb profile and buttpad mounting follow the standard T3x geometry.
Accessory compatibility: All Nokka accessories fit directly.
Tikka T3x Tac A1 — adjustable tactical stock
The T3x Tac A1 is a different story. It ships with a fully adjustable tactical stock — adjustable cheek piece, length of pull, and a pistol grip. This stock already provides the ergonomic adjustability that our cheek risers and LOP spacers add to sporter stocks.
Ergonomic accessories (cheek riser, LOP spacers): Not applicable. The Tac A1's factory stock does this better than any add-on could. Use the built-in adjustments.
Trigger spring: Fully applicable. The T3x Tac A1 uses the same trigger group as all T3x variants. A drop-in spring swap is still the best single upgrade for the platform.
Tikka T3x CTR (Compact Tactical Rifle) — adjustable stock
The CTR also ships with an adjustable stock — an adjustable cheek piece and collapsible/folding design depending on market. Same conclusion as the Tac A1.
Ergonomic accessories: Not applicable — use the factory adjustments. Trigger spring: Fully applicable.

Frequently asked questions
Do Tikka T3x accessories fit the Superlite?
Yes. The T3x Superlite uses the same sporter stock geometry as the standard T3x. The Nokka cheek riser, LOP spacers, and trigger spring all fit directly.
What accessories work on the Tikka T3x Tac A1?
The Tac A1's fully adjustable factory stock makes cheek risers and LOP spacers unnecessary — use the built-in adjustments instead. The trigger spring upgrade is fully applicable and is still the highest-value single upgrade for the platform.
Does the Tikka T3x CTR need a cheek riser?
No — the CTR ships with an adjustable cheek piece as part of its factory stock. The trigger spring upgrade still applies to the CTR, as all T3x variants share the same trigger group.
Are all Tikka T3x variants compatible with the same trigger spring?
Yes. Every T3x variant — Lite, Superlite, Compact, Tac A1, CTR, Roughtech, Hunter — uses the same trigger group architecture. A drop-in trigger spring designed for the T3x fits and functions identically across all variants.
